How do I measure the size of my ring at home?

Wrap a thin strip of paper or string around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, then measure that length in millimeters with a ruler. Compare the number to a standard ring size chart to find your size. You can also measure the inner diameter of a ring that already fits you well and match it against a conversion chart for an even more accurate result.

How do I know my ring size by number?

Once you have your finger's circumference or your existing ring's inner diameter in millimeters, look it up on a ring size chart, which lists the corresponding numerical size for US, UK, and other regional systems. Most charts show that a circumference of about 54 millimeters equals a US size 7, so you can find your exact number by matching your measurement to the closest value on the chart.

Can I measure my ring size without a printer or ruler?

Yes. A piece of string or dental floss along with a regular ruler is enough. If you do not have a ruler, you can mark the string length on a piece of paper and compare it later using any measuring tool with millimeter markings.

Should I size up or down if I am between two sizes?

It is generally better to size up slightly, especially for chunkier statement rings or wider bands, since a slightly loose ring is easier to adjust than one that is too tight.

Does temperature affect ring size measurements?

Yes. Fingers can swell in heat and shrink in cold weather, so try to measure at room temperature and avoid taking measurements right after exercise, showering, or exposure to very hot or cold conditions.

What if my ring size falls between two standard sizes?

Many customers find that rounding up to the nearest half or full size offers a more comfortable fit, particularly for adjustable or wider band designs available in the Rehnoor Jewels collection.
